Product details

The leaves of Scindapsus pictus ‘Argyraeus’ are heart-shaped and have a velvety texture. The prominent silver variegation on the leaves gives the plant its unique and eye-catching look. The silver speckles are scattered across the leaves, creating a beautiful contrast with the deep green background. As the plant grows, it will produce long, trailing vines that can be trained to climb or cascade.

WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE: The similar plant that is in the pictures.

CARE:

1. Light: Place your Silver Satin Pothos in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may lose some of its variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

2. Temperature:
Maintain a temperature range of 65-85°F (18-29°C). This plant is relatively adaptable to temperature fluctuations within this range.

3. Watering:
Allow the top inch or two of the soil to dry out before watering. Water the plant thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. It’s better to slightly underwater than to overwater, as pothos plants are quite forgiving.

4. Humidity:
Scindapsus pictus ‘Argyraeus’ appreciates higher humidity levels. If the air in your home is dry, you can increase humidity by misting the plant, using a humidity tray, or placing it in a room with a humidifier.

5. Soil:
Use a well-draining potting mix formulated for indoor plants. A mix that retains some moisture but doesn’t become waterlogged is ideal.
